For those of you who don’t know, I’m about to embark on the experience of a lifetime to live and study in the beautiful country of Israel for the spring semester of 2014. With the NFTY-EIE High School In Israel program, I’ll spend four months living with other 10th, 11th, and 12th graders on Kibbutz Tzuba (a small community), which is about 15 minutes outside of Jerusalem. Besides taking all of my regular core classes, I’ll also be taking a Hebrew class and a Jewish history class. Since we’re literally immersed in the culture, oftentimes we actually get to see the sites that we study about in school, which is something so insanely lucky that I can’t even wrap my head around it. In addition to traveling frequently all over Israel, we take a week trip to Poland, experience a week of simulated IDF army training in Gadna, hike from sea to sea, and endless other adventures that I can’t wait to partake in. All at the same time, I’ll be making lifelong friendships, discovering more about myself as a person, and creating endless memories that will last much much longer than just 4 months.

If you STILL have questions/want to keep in touch/ want to see the obnoxiously large amount of pictures I’ll be taking, (there’s wifi on the kibbutz) you can find me here:
